glenbear cottage Located on the North Shore of Little Glen Lake, set back 100 yards from Day Forest Road in a perfect setting. glenbear cottage gives you the wonderful feel of a "Northwoods cottage", but with all the amenities of any home. glenbear is located 1-1/2 miles from the Narrows Bridge separating Big and Little Glen Lakes. While very secluded and peaceful, glenbear is just 3 1/2 miles from Glen Arbor and the hub of activities, and just minutes away from Sleeping Bear National Park. In fact, National Park walking trails are just 100 yards off the property. The cottage is bigger than the pictures indicates, with 950 sq feet. The family room is 11.5 by 20 ft, and the sunroom is 13.5 by 13.5 ft. In addition, the front deck is about 26 ft by 12 ft. Decorated to feel like your Northwoods home with quality furnishings and decorating, this is one of the lake's very finest cottages. All furniture and beds were new in 2001. The typical comment from many previous renters is " The cottage is much nicer than the average rental, and is even nicer than the pictures on the website", and many thank you comments for a "VERY CLEAN" cottage. New carpet, vinyl, refrigerator and stove in 2008. This charming 2 bedroom cottage sleeps 6 or maybe 7 comfortably (several options). Prime weekly rental is $2700, Saturday to Saturday, and discounts are offered for June and after late August.
