glenview cottage glenview cottage is located near Burdickville, on the east side of Big Glen lake. This 3 bedroom, 1 bath cottage has been completely painted, wallpapered, and newly carpeted in May 2003. It is in exceptional condition, and furnished in an up north motif. You will find yourself at home in this cottage, as it certainly does not look or feel like a rental cottage. There is a professionally installed mooring for your boat. The rental includes a small rowboat, and a firepit that can be used at the beach. It has a washer and dryer, and one stall of the detached garage is available for bike and toy storage. Prime week rentals are Friday to Friday- check in 3PM, check out 9:30 AM). The weekly rental is $2950 for prime season, with reduced rates for June, late August, and September -October Fall color season. The property has 50 feet of sandy beach frontage, with a new dock extending 160 feet out into the water. There are no stones at water's edge, nor at the end of the dock, making this a great swimming and boating location. The kitchen has a new stove (2008) and refrigerator (2003), and has a complete set of dishes, pots, and pans. The dining table comfortably seats 6. The living room comfortably seats 6-7 people, and has a 25 inch TV with FULL digital cable, including digital music stations and many movie stations, 2 stereo systems with AM/FM, cassette, CD, and a VCR. DVD, and high speed internet access. The bathroom has been completely redone, with a new sink, faucet, toilet, and the tub enameled. There is a king pillowtop bed in the large Master bedroom that overlooks the lake. There is a queen pillowtop bed in the small 2nd bedroom There is a 3rd bedroom we call the bunk room, with bunk beds (pillowtop), and a trundle bed. It also has a 13" TV and VCR for the kids. Small, but very functional. There is a large covered porch off the front of the house, offering great view of the lake, Alligator Hill, and the sunsets. The gas grill also sits on the front porch. Beautiful sunsets in the evening!
